Classes: Food Systems
Culinary Training for Food Systems
Content creation, training, and technical support for educators, culinary professionals, and health and community organizations across the food system.
Food IS fundamental for human, community, and environmental health. Creating meaningful content that will help your team, staff, or students make this connection can be a challenge, but it can have a significant impact on how you (and they) live out your or your organization’s values or mission.
I create customized, adapted curriculum and relevant training built around content including food systems, food justice, culinary nutrition, food as medicine, local, seasonal, and regenerative diets, and agriculture, food, culinary, and nutrition career pathways.
I have expertise in the role of food, food systems, and food skills in public health, medicine, agriculture, nutrition, social studies, literature, math, and Family and Consumer Sciences. I take broad philosophical and scientific concepts and make them relevant and accessible to your audience. I help translate this content into actions, outcomes, and choices for your organization, the community, or individuals.
